About Wild West Wrestling Productions ~
Wild West Wrestling Productions was started by Cowboy Johnny Mantell and "K" Downs to give special event groups, school fundraising organizations, Main Street groups and any other community organization a opportunity to use a family-friendly wrestling group to raise funds for their charity or other group. We run a show that uses old-style TX wrestling with men and women who are family-oriented. John has over 30+ years in the professional wrestling arena, he has run fundraiser shows, done national TV and radio, worked for WWE, spent over 20 tours in Japan, and wrestled all over the world. He has seen and done everything and knows all the tricks of the trade in the professional wrestling world. "K" Downs, is also a professional wrestler as well as a Special Event Coordinator, who is a member of the IFEA (International Festivals and Events Association). She can help you with all your event coordination and promotional needs for your event.
Fundraising Potentional ~ "Spot Show"
At one time, professional wrestling generated revenue by one method, by selling tickets to live matches. They still do, of course, by televsion, radio, events, has opened other doors.
"Spot Shows" are those events co-sponsored by the wrestling organization and a local non-profit community group such as a Lions Club, Main Street Assoc., a High School Band Booster Club, a Senior Citizen organization, a High School Senior Class group, a PTA or a School Athletic Booster club or group.
The Spot Show is typically held in a school gym, at a football field, a rodeo arena, a Armory or any other location that can seat an estimated 1,000 people (can be less, all depends on the community) Even the smallest gymnasium has enough room for at least 400 ringside seats. Wild West provides the talent, the ring, the promotion staff, general liability insurance, local permit (if needed), and assistance with the advertising and promotion of the event if needed. Your organization will be assigned an Event Coordinator, this is a professional wrestling promoter whose job it is to help you have a successful and profitable event. The non-profit organization provides the facility, the seating, security and ushers, tickets and advance ticket sales, ticket sellers and ticket takers, advertising for the event, and cleans up the venue after the event.
Revenue from the event (all proceeds taken in) will go to your organization. The revenue can be generated through such things as ticket sales, concession stand items, souvenir programs, auctions that can be held during match intermisisons and more. Call Wild West Wrestling Productions and let us show you the "Blue Print to Success".
